One wazzock I know well once shot on a Sunday morning after a particularly 'good' Saturday evening, and forgot his finger sling altogether - first of his (my sighters) went scooting down the range and the bow attempted to follow after it, comint to rest in the mud about a metre in front of him (me)!

Puzzled expression on his (my) fuddled brow, great hilarity from the assembled company. :

Forgetting a sling/forgetting to tie the thing is probably the most common ####-up in archery.

If Goldie were to hand out Fonzies everytime it happened, we'd all have one or two.(sticks hand up for at least two I can remember)

It doesn't half make a clatter when you do it indoors.

Sounds slightly more expensive than the noise the carbons make when hitting the stand sideways
