Red face Lack of Equipment

Last Sunday's Portsmouth & I'm returning to the shooting line having recovered my arrows (from the target..). Unusually I'm first back to the shooting line so I make sure I'm in position in front of the correct target with enough room for the people either side of me. Nice and loose, a couple of shake down exercises, everyone else is back, quick smile then clear my mind ready to shoot. Something is wrong, can't put my finger on it- ah yes! A bow! A useful aid in these situations, mine is still sat in its stand...

Are you allowed to attach yourself to the bow with a bit of string - like we used to do with the house keus when we were kids!

I was thinking more along the kind of thing that was sewn into a glove, went up one sleeve, across the back and down the other sleeve before being sewn into the other glove

Was shooting an indoor matchplay and also running the shoot. First 2 ends I was clean and cruising for an easy win. Step up for the last three arrows and realized I left my arrows in the target.
I only carry 3 indoor arrows as I never break them (shoot 3 spot) so had to take out some Triples I had on me and guess the sight setting. Instead of a 7 point win won by 2 points.
Very stupid.

Would it need to be elastic to allow for the draw?

It may be interesting not to have elastic - just to see what would happen
