Does colder weather make bare shafts any stiffer?
serious question! |
During the Christmas holidays I have been testing my bow while the temperatures were at around -10C and I FELT everything was harder to pull.
I had been doing some paper tests but I may assume the "strange" results I was getting were due to the increased stiffness of my fingers and of the tab material.
You may definitely get some changes in cold weather. The causes may not be very definite. If the bare shafts are stiffer, the fletched one shall be just the same.
