| Bare shaft shooting shall become interesting as soon as one is able to release in a fairly consistent fashion. Conversely, bare shaft shooting also is an indicator of the release quality and consistency. I know of some shooters who would have been interested in shooting bare shafts only but have been prevented from doing so by regulations stipulating that in a competition one should use fletched shafts. They eventually have used very minimal fletches ![]() |
