arrows going left and right

Just had my arrows cut down to the right length for me, its made them to stiff but I cant afford a new set at the mo. went to try them this morning and they all fly left at 30m/40m (which I expected) but when I go to 70m they all fly right.
My button is soft and my bow poundage is as high as possible without giving me a hernia.
what am I doing wrong/forgetting?

If you have overly "softened" the button you stand a good chance of compressing it completely back to the plunger when shooting, in which case the button is of no use at all, the arrow may indeed be hitting the housing if it extends through the riser or it may be hitting the riser itself, in which case you get all sorts of flight errors occurring, usually a better route to follow till you get correctly matched kit would be to increase the spring tension but set the plunger depth to centre shot. IE string down centre of limbs - arrow down centre of string, but you best and easiest cure would be to buy heavier points @ approx 75p each for Redline points

Already checked for "bottoming out" of the plunger so its not that. Looks like I'll have to start saving my pocket money for heavier piles, although I still dont know why I get right arrows at longer distance when they go left at short (as theyre supposed to). I presume that at some point about 50m they would be spot on

May I ask how you eliminated the bottoming out, did you powder test? as to why the arrows track from left to right Is your sight track 100% assured parallel with your bow string? if it's not you will be adjusting your wind-age inadvertently, as you change distances, sounds like a simple walk back tune could be helpful too. Get your arrows to impact at a point that coincides with your sight pin at 10yds wind-age adjustment, then walk back and see which way your arrows head as you walk back.

Walk back .

thanks,

also never thought about having a diagonal sight track, need to double check that, just in case
