| nothing wrong with trying but they wont stay in place. The top three nocking point options are Super glue and thread Beiter nocking points Nock spools (more fashionable in the 90's ) 1 piece teflon spool made into the string on construction. Exceptionally robust and very light weight everything else concievable has been tried |

| Superglue and embroidery thread do it for me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| If the work for you then great but they look really bulky and heavy. I think I will stick with my floss, knots and fire method! ![]()

| Beiter nocking points. Stable, constant etc. Better used with a Beiter arrow rest. One has to know the correct nocking height before applying them. They are better installed after tuning with another type of movable nocking point. |

| soft twist nylon serving thread, knotted alternately front and back to build up a block of knots (usually about 5 knots front and 5 knots back). Cut excess down to approx 5mm and light to form small nlyon bobbles to prevent knots coming undone. (Same principal as dloops on compound) I prewax the soft twist to make it easier to knot. Lighter than brass knocks (and easier on the flesh) Thicker than floss/cotton, so only one layer involved. No superglue, so (a) easier to put bow down after making nocking point and (b) i find super glue cracks and you end up with a nocking point rattling about. Firmly locks to serving so no movement. If nylon bobles come off, just relight the loose ends, so easy to do field repairs. Cheap (assuming you have a reel of serving thread to hand). Easy to do 8 out of 10 cats said their owners prefered this. |

| Floss and glue. Im also not dissaproving of thread but I prefer to tie foss then glue it. I find the method to glue thread abit more fiddly so I prefer ti tie floss (mine is mint flavoured) and then when its done I can glue it woith out worrying about it unwinding. Floss is great as it is thin so it can be made nice and small and smooth.

| I personally use floss and then melt it. Granted it does turn into a big black blob if you heat if for too long (mine has) but it forms a very nice waxy layer through which it is very hard to undo. |

| I've currently got a floss nock point. Tied front & back several times, then the loose end heated with a lighter. So far It hasn't budged!!! Then again neither did my old brass points!!!
