make sure your sight pins are lined up ,if you are unsure ,put a piece of tape across the aperture housing as straight as you can and then look to see that the pins line up, although a lot of people use the bare shaft method i find it totally unreliable when shooting fingers in the limited style, normally when doing the walk back any final adjustments usually comes in between 40 and 55 yards, for me that is, thats if you are talking about a 3 or 5 pin sight and not one of those single pin thingys some you guys use,

One more thought.
Are your arrows matched to your bow correctly?
Incorrect spine will cause problems with windage.

Very true! That's the first thing we've got to find out!

Do not mess with your button spring tension tension on a walk back unless you are sure what you are doing. Do a bare shaft tune first to check the spine draw weight match. and then do a walk back to set the center shot by moving the button in or out to get a verticle line of arrows.

Smile Sorted

I have checked the vertical tracking of my sight pin with string and that was fine, after finding this link on A-I
Walk-back Tuning FAQ
I found that my that my offsett corresponded to distance as on section B of the link to the walk back test, In then reduced button pressure, and the horizontal pin tracking is fine from 70mtrs( which I shot for the first time ever!, sight was on the bottom of the track), to 60yds, 50yds, 40 yds, and I shot indoors last night at 20yds, I still found I had to shift my sight pin from 70mtrs to 20yds by 2mm which is better than before it was 6mm from 60yds to 20 yds.

how do you check that the extension is straight? I've aligned my sight bar, but i'm not really sure about extention. I'm using a shibuya ultima btw.

Could someone help me out on a similar topic?

My arrows are correctly spined, judging from bareshaft at 18m, the bow is aligned correctly, but to get the arrows to walk-back-tune (WBT) straight I need to bring the button into the riser so that the arrow point is 1" left (lefty archer)!

I have no idea what causes this, the WBT was done with one sight mark, from 5 to 30m. The arrows went first right, then left after about 10m and keep going left.

My sight track doesn't lean enough for me to get it to work properly, but that doesn't seem relevant here.

How does the walk back tune turn out? If its a straight line(and not a curve), I think its the spring tension that you should be adjusting, and not the centreshot. But I'm not sure as I don't exactly use the walkback tune method. Lets wait for a more experienced advice.

Thats the issue really, if I have everything straight then there is a WBT curve which goes first away from the window (right for a lefty) then back in.
