| A viking point is like this: France Archerie - Pointe Viking CXL 120/140gr When the arrow was removed from the target straw or foam was dragged out with it because it had got stuck in the groove around the point.

| Hey Thom, I'm glad that you mentioned about the viking points having a slight overlap around the edge at the top of the point, as I checked my arrows last night and found that they have a slight edging that overlaps the side of the shaft, and althoiugh it's barely noticable, Ive decided that I'll change the modbods to bullet points, but I'll ask someone from the club to show me the best way of trimming the arrow shaft, so that I can get the points perfectly flush to the shaft. I'm just going to shoot with club equipment for a few months untill I can get up to about 50lb draw weight, and so, I'll be using my arrows with a club bow of a matching draw weight and just save the cash for a new bow ![]() Thank you once again everyone for your replies and info, I really appreciate it ![]() Willie |
