Remember to keep up your regular food intake - cold and wet really sap the energy, which needs replacing. It is too late when you really start to feel the effects.
Remember that, if you are feeling competitive, the conditions are the same for everyone else. If you are 900 points down on your average hereford, then its likely most others will be too,

900 points down...??? Just how bad is this weather and why haven't the judges cancelled the shoot?!?!?

Be careful about the colour of your waterproofs! At the storm-lashed YAA Double FITA last year, I wore a bright yellow waterproof top. Whenever the rain stopped, I got covered in swarms of little black bugs attracted to the colour. Light blue is supposed to be the best colour, since insects aren't so attracted to it.

I remember a BTC in the 90s . heavy showers of rain interspersed with bright sunshine. Sight mark variation between rain and dry was 122cm at 80yds!!!!!
