Have fun. Take stuff to eat through all day long to keep up energy levels. Take or get lots to drink to stop getting dehydrated, especially if it's a warm sunny day. There's plenty of threads on here that discuss the pros and cons of different stuff to eat and drink. Peruse and make up your own mind. But above all don't be nervous. We're friendly bunch. Good luck and enjoy yourself.

I was talking about start of scoring to end of shooting. Obviously setting up/waiting for results would add more time to either side. Sorry for any confusion!!

Thanks for the advice - and reassurance. Amazing how I can feel like an awkward teenager again...those were the days...

I'm looking forward to meeting plenty of friendly people and I intend to enjoy it as much as possible. That's my aim more than any set score. I must admit I don't think I've met any archer so far who has been anything other than friendly and helpful - maybe we're just that breed and it's just that type of sport.

Philosophy aside - ta.
