Making arrows easier to pull

Stopping arrows sticking - shoe shine pads and Mr. Sheen work well. Apply to bottom 1-1.5" of arrow.

From Cliveanne:
Use a 35mm film canister with sponge stuffed inside soaked in Mr Sheen
(I presume the idea is to put a hole in the cap large enough to push the arrow through - Murray)

From Fox:
olive oil, in a lube tube, biodegradeable, cheap, makes them a bit easier to pull out but does stop the straw/cellulose sticking as much. doesent migrate up the shaft either. BUY A DECENT PULLER.

The Easton Guide recommends rubbing Hard Soap (A Bar of Soap Basically) on your arrows, I am currently using a lovely smelling bar of lavender soap .

The shoe shine pads are silicone, this stuff is very slippery, if you are a compound shooter you will be more likely to suffer from sticking arrows but there is a good chance you will have some silicone spray for your bow, spray a small amount on the ends of your arrows (or on a cloth then wipe your arrows), not too much as it will migrate and make the shafts slippery and pulling them will be impossible.

Nope. I just take off the lid, spin the arrows & replace the lid

Might even help to keep the gnats at bay as well

i recently tryed the lube tube which subsequently made my arrows pass throught he boss into the leg and being navs the point is wider than the shaft so i lost the points out of them but thyre recoverd now i may try this as it would provide lubrication but not too much
