| A trick I learned from a GP is to keep your wrists cool either using wet wristbands or holding a cold bottle against them. Something to do with your pulse points giving out a lot of heat. I've tried this on hot commuter trains in London and it does work.

| Used this trick in the forces, it does work, the reason is that you cool down the blood, also works with the pulse on the ankle and the neck.(wet neckerchief)
