| Another alterntive is to used the stuck point as a the centre of turn, and rotate the arrow whilst genlty, but with enough force to pull it out. This will make a hole big enough to remove the arrow, with mininal damage to the leg, and no need to a knife/ chisel |

| Knives and chisels are brittle. Flat bladed "cabinet" screwdrivers, sharpened to an edge, used in pairs are more "legal" and work better in wood. Granted they don't look as good as a knife. Less harmful on the shaft when probing the soil for buried arrows. But bulkier to carry.Does antone carry a metal wedge and hammer? |
