Arrow Cleaning

Cheap nail polish remover is mainly acetone and is great for cleaning de-greasing arrows, just don't get it on your nocks or they may melt.

But only for Aluminium!

It could damage the matrix of carbon arrows

IsoPropyl alcohol - tape head cleaner - is ok for all!

The Easton Guide does say if you soak Carbon arrows in Solvents it can break down the Matrix and it is very specific about not using them (acetone included) with the nocks installed as it can make them brittle.

I doubt a quick wipe with Acetone will damage carbon but if you are not confident it is probably better to be safe than sorry.
