Dont Buy it if you can make it.

Dont spend loads of money on things that can be made from stuff lying round the house.

My scope does not live in a bag, I wrap a face cloth round it and hold it in place with one of my daughters scrunchies (Hair Bands).

I keep my Bow stand in an odd sock I found in my drawer, stops it scratching stuff in my bag.

I made a FormMaster from an old lanyard and a Boot Lace.

OK so I'm cheap, but when you are starting out its all the little bits that end up breaking the Bank.

So true. My first tab was home-made. Also why bother buying a sling when some old shoelaces will do, (Just make shure they're from a UNUSED pair of trainers!)

Yeah, it's surprising what you can make, ironically with bow-slings I prefer a shoe-lace sling and as for bowcases, well, I have a length of strong black cotton cloth left over from making a pair of trousers that soon will become a bow-case which can strap onto my rear pannier rack on the trike.

Yup, I made my own butt stand (now that sounds strange). Total cost about £8. Would've been less if I'd waited a week and been able to use next door's leftovers from when they built a deck! Still, got enough now for a second one
