| I believe these were developed by NASA, some years ago. When they spoke to the Russians about what THEY used to write with in outer space, they simply replied - "we dont have the budget to develop a specific pen for writing in space, so we use a pencil..." |

| Chinagraph pencils work very well in the wet and dont rub off accidentilly i used them in the army for writing on map boards |
