New Arrows

To prevent the carbon fibres on carbon/ aluminium carbon arrows splintering just behind the piles, run a little super-glue, nail varnish or similar in this area it fills and smooths any slight gaps that may be protruding.

Great tip Buzz!

It also works on the rear just ahead of the nock if you're not using any kind of outserts or in-out nocks. Just be sure that the glue or varnish is completely cured (at least 24 hours in a windy place) before re-attaching the nocks as superglue vapours and some solvents will attack and weaken the plastic nocks.

CHEERS!
