Tool for removing serving material

I have found a second use for a watch spring bar removing tool such as can be found - http://www.cousinsuk.com/default.asp...oductid=455411 at £6.76 It is excellent for removing serving material, the pin end can tease out the serving and the fork end can pull out and cut through the serving material.

Macheti. Thats a real mans tool for removing serving. However the chance of removing all the strands of the string from the bow at the same time is very high.

A 10A Scalpel blade usually does the trick - bit more subtle than a craft knife

My personal favourite is a broadsword..... I also find that I win competitions if I carry it on my belt.......
