Good luck Jim. The switch to freestyle is one of the most challenging I think. Mind you, I found I could get on my back better with my paw under the chin than when shooting BB.
The thing that most beginners seem to find the most challenging is when your BB scores go down the toilet (as happens to most) when you put a sight on. However, the same principle is true when you change ANY part of you style/form/technique in archery, whether it be a minor hand alignment or a major change like bowstyle or stance. This is true at whatever level you shoot at too. The thing to do is try to get a motivation that isn't totally scores, but more about shooting a shot with perfect form.
Good luck with it,
P.
