Without the pin nocks these arrows would have been RH's or ruined but not one of them was damaged in any way. Can't imagine why it doesn't work that way for timujin.. but they work for me.
Good for you. I imagine that my problems resulted from the fact that my arrows have been shafted (pardon the pun) quite a few times and have split under the strain just like haemorrhoids after a bout of constipation as you'd probably appreciate.

Sorry I don't have photos to back up what I say but I don't normally take pictures of my minor disasters. I just trimmed my arrows down by half an inch and they are shooting away quite well now using my "patented" design.

People will always notice different results but as you mentioned your shafts had been rearended quite a bit then that mite be the reason but hay who's to know.

Don't really want to see pictures of your haemorrhoids anyway

Caveman:

Alternative: look for Easton Vector Pins.
The 480-530 size fits the Cartel Triple 300 to 700 range of shafts.
Or on ebay:

beiter

I use beiter in out nocks on my 430 ace's and these have saved the arrows after a rear end at 50 m with a 56 lb outback

i do agree with neil that that pins and the nocks definately reduce arrow fatality especialy on x10s as they arnt exactly the most durable of shafts. i tryed using pin nocks but i like to use a BEITER nock point on the string. and found that using the easton nocks keeps breaking the nock point. I really do not understand why beiter do not make a nock to go on the easton pin. it would be a great seller. i now use x10 shafts with an overfit beiter nock but keeping the pin filed down underneith the nock and touch wood it has worked a treat since.

Which doesn't really matter, as they make the Triple sized insert nocks in the same 'heavy' material as the in/outs. I don't think it's the design which makes in/outs durable, just the material. I credit the 'heavy' nocks with having saved a number of my shafts.
