pin nocks come in 2 nock sizes small groove and large groove. generally the small groove is for recurve and the large groove for compound. are you saying the large groove pin nocks didnt fit your servings and you had to heat them? havent seen that problem here at my shop. compounds have no problem using the large groove ones here. your serving must be thicker than most or you got small groove nocks by accident which wouldnt fit on any comound string and vice versa.

It was the large groove ones. I checked the (unopened) packet(s) too.They didn't fit the factory Bowtech strings too well- they were too small. Fit was OK when I had bespoke strings put on.

However, the Beiter nocks fit both- I guess the Beiter desing with the longer ears of the nock helps there and they seem to use a different plastic, not so brittle.
