there are three main adjusting screws on the rest ( assuming that you have the Zero Tolerance rest)

on the bush that the rest arm passes through,

there is one black one with a cap head, this one controls the rest extension - if you slacken it off, the rest will move from side to side, allowing it to be more or less proud of the riser, catering for thinner/fatter arrows & button extension.

There are also two hex head grub screws, these adjust the height of the restin relation to the centre of the button - loosen these off and the arm should move up and down in relation to the button.

lastly there are two screws in the machined block. if you tighten these, the arm is either locked in place or free to move. It is therefore possible to have a non flipping rest.

hope this helps.

I used to have a ZT, if I have the instructions, I will scan them and post them up somewhere. Though iirc, they consisted of an exploded diagram with a list of parts (in italian).

Best thing to do with these screws is :-

Hold the rest bar against the riser then tighten one of the screws so it holds the bar steady

Then let go of the rest bar and slowly back off the screw untill the bar flips out.

Doing this gives you the least amount of play in the rest and still allows it to flip properly.

a copy in pdf format of the 'instructions' that came with my ZT are here..

although this shows a R/H Win & Win version, I can't believe that others will vary from this pattern much.

T.

p.s. looks like I was wrong, there is only one screw to adjust the height of the arrow rest.
