Loose nocks

I have just changed back to the X nock on my fmjs and some of them were very loose. I tried the standard method PTFE tape but found it too soft , bunching up and not giving a good fit. Found one answer and that was a single strand of fast flight. I took the twist out and spread it and then hooked the strand lenght ways on the nock and pushed it in. Result a nice tight fit.
