Hello

Hello!

Thought I'd introduce myself and say hello.
I've just got started with archery again, after 8 years. Got started the first time at university, in Dundee, graduated and stopped after two years. Now I live in Athens, Greece, and have decided to give it a go again! Hopefully I won't have to quit again!

What is archery like in Greece?
It would be interesting to know how it compares with your experience in UK.

Thank you!

I must admit that my experience of archery here in Greece is still very limited, but from what I have seen these couple of weeks, it is a sport that is struggling due to poor funding, and lack of locations for clubs to practice/shoot. The club I have joined were forced once a week to have an indoor practice in a small hall at the same time as a . . . . weightlifting club had theirs!!! Thankfully they have found a new indoor location now, so no more loud grunts and weights slamming into the ground . . .
