Hello
Hello everyone, my name is Joe Martin and I live about as far away from English Longbow history as a person can get (Nebraska - USA), but I still prefer the longbow over all other bows I own.

I find the longbow very interesting as well as the sport itself, the longbow shooting by such men as Horace Ford and others who excelled at this sport and helped to keep the tradition alive for all of us to enjoy today is a remarkable 'hands on' study of the history of Archery.

Longbows forever!

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Someday I hope to visit England and take part in an archery contest or two, or more. That would be the highlight of archery for me. I'll have to wait a few years however. I'm still working towards retirement (12 years to go), but it's never to early to start planning for a trip.

In the mean time I'll continue my archery practice here at my little 'side yard' range along with some side trips to our local range where I can let loose the longbow for some distance shooting, and continue to follow along here on the Archery-Interchange.
