Hi all ....
Been into Archery since, oooh, August/September of this year when my son got involved and I 'had a go' .... haven't enjoyed myself so much for a long time.

48 yrs old, married, two kids 12 and 15, short, fat, uncouth but friendly and helpful.

Only entered two tournaments so far, Field Archery at Melton run by Dearne Valley, got top Novice with 350 points, then D&DAA indoor Portsmouth round at Rotherham, got joint top novice with 489, but the other chap got the medal 'cos he got more golds than I.

Normally shoot with Danum Archers and have an old Yamaha Alpha SX recurve and X7 Eclipse arrows.

Off to have a drinkie poo and a bite o' snap now, thankyou very much ....

How come every novice seems to be stamping up and down on how i was able to shoot when i had been shooting that long??
