Hello all

Hi to you all, my name is john and I'm wanting to have a go at this archery business I've seem some guys doing it at a local place and it looks fun.
So the first question me being a beginner and all is can anyone recommend a a sensible cheap compound bow for me to have a try with?
I had a bike accident a few years ago and suffered damage to my arm so something that has a low draw weight. If you have any questions for me feel free to ask, unless it's how to go faster than light, I'm sick of answering that one. cheer from john in Newcastle.

Learn to shoot a recurve first to get the basics before moving onto a compound.

go to the club youve seen and have a chat with them.

you should find that they run a beginners course to get you started.

compound bows are haed work to begin with.

most importantly have fun.

Thanks i have looked into it and the local shooting area is whickham thorns leisure center, but they are only open from April so i may look for a real club in the area instead. And thanks for the advice on getting a re-curve bow first.

Many thanks from Spugy.
