| Hello All Hi, just joined here as I have taken up archery again recently for the first time since I did a little when 14-15 (20 odd years ago!) Been attending local introductory course with a friend who's a complete beginner and must say enjoying it even more than i expected (and I was looking forward to it too) Picked up a cheap 2nd hand bow the other day (mostly to prevent me going out and spending a fortune before time as I know my spending habits and patience factor!) Its an old 1piece recurve, a Greenkat Clubman, but its what I want for the present and I intend to do more field than target so should suit for a while, oh and it looks great too  I expect to be asking god knows how many testing questions fairly soon       |

| Hi Tael - nice you could join us. As for questions - ask away. There's always someone around who can provide an answer. Who knows - they might even be right! If you want to forestall some questions, have a look in the Directory on the heading and download Murray's excellent 'Archer's Reference'. It's even got answers to the questions you haven't yet thought of... That avatar is brilliant! Can we make it the subject of a caption competition?
