Hello, folks
Hi, everyone.

I've just joined this forum as I am a relative beginner and could do with advice. I am a retired UK schoolteacher now living in France, which makes getting first-hand help a bit difficult. I hope to be able to get ideas about what equipment is right for me as I go along.

Hi there Graham - welcome to the asylum!

There's plenty of advice available here, and it's free just like the and . Dip in whenever you need some, there's always someone here to help.

You could start by downloading Murray's very excellent 'Archers Reference' - you'll find a link to it in the 'Directory' section on the menu bar. It's very comprehensive so you might want to take a deep breath before printing it all, but it will explain a great deal.
