back with a pop!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

just joined this site, as a returning archer of some missed 20+ years

I Shot Sunday the first time really in 20 years at 100yds, got almost all on the target... bit spread but on..... left as an MB but now think thats more like a wana B :0)

So I am going to need so help with what is the best bow, arrows, stabiliser set up etc. Still shooting the EX with all Yamaha stabilisers (the old type that have thin rods and big weights and the long rod tappers to the end V bar with inbuilt TCF's and a twin mount sight and shooting X7's.

Ho and shot a kevlar sting... am I out of the ark or more post war :0)

Got two young kids 12 and 11 who are showing an interest so can use them as an excuse to sneak out the house on a Sunday away from the Mrs :0)

Great site and hope to look forward to meeting some of you on the shooting line.

thanks

Stu

ps
we are halfway through our application to immigrating to Perth Western Australia so any Auzzie or expat archers please drop me a line and say hi

Hi

Welcome to the forum best advice is to go to your local shop if it is a decent one and spend a good few hours with them.

Club rings a bell as well but its over 20 years ago

remember my club members and the top shooters of the time, county, national and international level from Jim masters, peter boyd and shelia pocock to steve hallard, mark blencarn and pauline edwards as well as keith muspratt, dale huges, susan wolf and gary harding...etc etc

its all a bit misty now definatly recognise the name lez but i need a face to remember him fully
