Ah, another forum to waste time on

I have been lurking for a while, and am a regular on Archery-Forum, and a casual on Sagi'.

Brian Fromholtz is my name and I am from SW Sydney. I am a 10 year secretary of my small (30 or so members) target archery club, and 14 year compounder, presently out of action with a shoulder problem which does not affect anything but drawing a bow.

Previous executive member of our RGB, and not young, but progressive. And I am not a cake eater either, thanks.

Major project at the moment is getting contracts in place with government authority to host the NSW State Field Championships, again, on their land. Tough work, but nearly there.

Our club held our first NSW Field last November on a virgin course. Have a look at the photo in the first post on this thread for an idea. The photo was later publisher in the NAA magazine.

It was hard work, but good fun and a great tournament. And on again this year.

Brian

Not a cake eater?? Gasp!

Yes, England's doing well, helped by some drops ad a no-ball. It's nice to see Shane Warne getting his 600th wicket -- what a player!

Welcome aboard Frommy. Nice shot of Gilligan's Revenge.

Hope the weather stays fine at Old Trafford, so that we can give you another stuffing.
I'll take a 2 run victory any day if the games worth watching.

Mick

"It's nice to see Shane Warne getting his 600th wicket -- what a player!" Yes, and and idiot to boot as well.

Great score for England at 444. That will take some chasing.

Mick,

The layup on Gilligans Revenge was different from the photo, in that we had a tree in direct line between the peg and the target. The photo is great, and the shot was not much different, but the tree factor had the mind games going.

He was an idiot to boot his stumps in the 2nd test!

Oh dear, I seem to have upset OB!

Not that it worried you, Dave, to phone me at work in Sydney after the World Masters to check how your target faces had performed.

Nice little forum this, and unless you put some ban in place on us colonials, I will continue to come here. After all, many of your contributors are also regulars on AF.

G'day TJ, Shirt, Murray, Joe, et al.

Brian
