Hello evryone
Greeting one and all, My name is Steve, I shoot traditional self Yew Warbows up to 130lb draw weight, I am very passionate about the longbow and especially its History in the hands of the English.
I started shooting only 4 years ago and struggled to shoot even a 50lb bow, but i had in my head that i wanted to shoot a military weight warbow, so i trained by shooting heavier and heavier bows untill i achieved my aim, I love to do Distance shooting and recently won the GNAS/FITA UK Flight Championships in the Longbow unlimited class with a shot of 311yds, i am good friends with most of the heavy longbow shooters and regularly go roving with the Pickwicks, i am also a steward of the Finsbury Archers. I put on a 2 day event each year at Batsford, Glocs for traditional archers from all over Europe, see www.etas-archery.com. I am also the only supplier in the UK of High Altitude Italian Self Yew Longbows.

Anyway that's me.
Pictures are from shoot in Hungary and demonstrating shooting a heavy War Bow.

Thanks for the welcome, The Bow in the pictures is 105lb, but even the with the bigger bows , i only hold the bow at full draw for a second or two, just enough to get control over it before i loose.
