Hi folks ex butterfly bowmen

Hi I have just had my fire restoked on hols to start up this fab sport ....I used to shoot at samuel jones paper mill in St Neots for the butterfly bowmen ...many moons ago haha ..

So I have scaned ebay and sorted my self out a Win & win evolution 1 kit ....I think its a little on the short side as Im 6.4" however ...perhaps not as the kit has come with 30" arrows and as the kits in mint condition ... well I thought it was a bargain ...

Im trying to source a set of limbs for it but I would like them to be 68" at 38#

The riser is 23.5" so its not the 25" spec it does say 68 @ 30# but I have measured the bow (unsrtung) and it only measures 64" tip to tip ....

So If any one has a set of 68 @ 38# limbs lurking in a dark corner I am all ears ...I have been told that being the evo 1 that only evo 1 limbs will fit and I cant use international limbs although the Riser is the same as the white one on the right seen on quicks catoulogue...

I can send a digital pic of the fitment at the riser end of the limbs if via email if any one can help that would be nice ..

cheers Gary

RE: Hi folks ex butterfly bowmen

Welcome aboard the board, Darkstar!

When you measured the recurve, did you follow every curve? The way they're measured is tip-to-tip, on the belly side (facing the archer), following every dip and curve.

I think the new-ish KAP Surprise limbs are actually re-branded Evolution 1 limbs, so you might want to look around for those. I don't think they (or the originals) go up to 38 lb, though.
