Hello everyone
Hello everyone. Bit of a newby archer compared to some of you out there as I've only been shooting for two years now, longbow for most of that time. As well as the bow in my profile, which I've had for a few months now, I have an old Ron Palmer (43lbs @ 28") which I shoot indoors. I like to make my own arrows and I'm getting more and more interested in this... I'm also interested in any pointers on technique. When I got the heavier bow I went over to a "closed" stance, which I felt made it easier to use the back muscles, but the club coach tells me this is a bad idea from the point of view of how the body works, any views out there?
