Hello fom Meriden

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to say hello and introduce myself. I'm a member, and webmaster, of Meriden Archery club, based close to the NEC.

I was thinking of adding a forum to our website, but this one looks very active so I will, if I may, add a link to here.

Regards, Andy

Welcome.

Next year can you match the weather for your end of season Windsor to the standard of your excellent bacon butties?

So many welcomes so quickly, many thanks one and all.

Flying Whale : Sorry about the weather, we do all that we can but our request wasn't heard this year. Hope you enjoyed the shoot anyway. Though I think that even the very best of summer weather doesn't match the bacon butties

Ruth : I'll link to the forum as soon as I can, looking around the posts it seems busy and useful. Our website is quite busy most of the time, so hopefully we'll see more and more members joining up here.

regards,

Andy

Actually I didn't enjoy the shoot very much. Before you get upset it was nothing to do with the hospitality at all. I love coming over to Meriden. I just shot like a complete pillock. Scored 4 less than last year when I had only been shooting for 3 months!

Not sure I like you danage bosses though. I know it is only the 2nd time they had been used, and I had an arrow go clean through at 60 yards in the first couple of dozen....not bad when I only shoot 34# off the fingers recurve

Never mind, I'll be back next year.
