If I get half as hooked on this one and archery as I am on knife making and www.britishblades.com I'll never have time to go to work! And judging by the fun I've had in the first 3 weeks of my beginners course I'm hooked! (and that is without the cake )

welcome, and enjoy, you will get hooked. On archery and AIUK. I only went along to our local club to keep my hubby company, now I am the Secretary, Treasurer and Record Keeper.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. week 4 of my beginners course this morning and they gave us some recurve takedowns with sights to shoot instead of the bare fibreglass recurves and longbowish ones we have had in the early lessons. Now I know what I want for Chrismas! yep, I'm hooked

It definitely has that ability - like someone else in this thread I only went along to keep my partner ( in this case my wife) company, and have been well and truly hooked ever since!
