| Hi all from Edinburgh Hi everyone, thought id say hello. Now im not going to give a sad, sob story but joined because im having to retire and sell my beloved archery equipment. Due to an unfortunate back injury few years ago, things have deteriorated and im unable to carry on. Now dont bring all the hankies and tissues out. Ive loved my time with the sport and its time to move on. To those who ive met through my time, thank you. Its been a pleasure. Thanks to Jeff Mackenzie at HMS Neptune Archery Club where my time started. Also to Balbardie Archers in Bathgate during my brief time there for making me welcome when work permitted. I will be posting my equipment in the classified section in next day or so once pictures have been taken. So please look out for it as its in excellent condition and will make brilliant Christmas Prezzie for Newbie archer thanks for now John |

| hi Jonny welcome to the forum. Jeeeso I feel for anyone that is removing themselves from the sport for a reason thats not their fault, I know how you feel, you know just because your not gonna shoot anymore, doesnt mean you dont have to be involved, as far as Im aware and Im not sure of all the details but you can become a non shooting member with either GNAS or SAA you would need to dig deeper into that, that way you could stay involved perhaps do judging or basic coaching. Some members of our club shot up at Neptune last weekend, and Jeffs wee club is going strong. Anyhow catch you on the forum somewhere, take care for now. Quote:

| Welcome aboard jonny G! Just because you can phyically participate in archery doesn't mean you still can't be involved. I hope you enjoy the forum and share with us your experiences.
