 Hello Hi all, Thought the forum move would be an ideal time to join this community and introduce myself... So here goes  .I'm Lee. 30yrs old and have been an archer for all of 2 months (including my month beginners course) and i am absolutely hooked. Things are making more sense now, week by week it is seeming less of a foreign language and actually sinking in. I became a member at Lichfield Archers after my course, who have welcomed me with open arms and have been full of encouragement. On Tuesday i entered my first "Round of the month", what a night, really enjoyed myself, great atmosphere and ended up with a score of 497.(Portsmouth round) I went with the goal of not missing the boss and having fun, so was i chuffed with the result  Anyway  , before i ramble on I'll just say great forum and i hope to be a regular here.Oh yeah, as cake seems nearly as popular here as archery, better had put me down for a blackberry muffin please (Are muffins cakes?) | Thanks for the welcome! I'm shooting recurve Mick. A Merlin Elite to be precise, i have not seen any other Merlin shooters so i thought i would be a little different. Can't put my finger on why, but compound bows do not seem to appeal to me at all. Nothing against compound shooters, just not for me atm. As for the muffins, blackberry tastes best, but blueberry is a close 2nd | |||||||||||
