Stolen Archery equipment - Doncaster Scouts

It is very sad to report that the district's recently acquired archery equipment was stolen last night.
It was loaded in our group's box trailer ready for use at the deaf school today.

The stolen items include:
4 children's bows (54 inch, in green and dark blue – brand name: "Rolan")
4 adult bows (66/68 inch in orange and blue, brand name: "Rolan")
2 teenage bows (58 inch – wooden handle – branded "Polaris")

[The above bows were stored in 2 x 26inch black Stanley toolboxes]

1 green mesh 10m x 3mtr (to catch stray shots)

60(ish) arrows (stored in a drainpipe tube – 6inch diameter about 3ft long, arrow brand name: "lightning")

Please see images of the toolbox and bows on the attached notice (the bows dismantle for carrying, so come in 3 parts)

PLEASE DISPLAY THIS NOTICE ON YOUR HQ NOTICE BOARDS (or even at work)

Please let me or the police know if you see or hear of anyone offering cheap archery gear (esp at car boots)
Although I am on holiday from 23.00 today until 12.00 on Sunday 9th
In my absence please contact Eric Hobson – 01302 882316 or email hobsons3eden@btinternet.com

The crime has been reported to S Yorks police in my name and today's date

Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to offer our archery services for the near future
