Bow on eBay

I am using my gut feeling to tell me there is something not quite right with a Hoyt Acutec advertised currently on ebay.

It is item number: 270010100362.

Blue Hoyt Accutec with XT2000 limbs.

I hope I'm wrong, but please have a look to see if you recognise this bow.

Seller is in Liverpool ( oh dear, a bit stereotypical)

Does look like either (a) someone selling a bow that knows nothing about it, or, (b) NeilM's guts are correct.

Not many people would be selling a top of the range bow without detailing the draw length or poundage (especailly for a compound). I just love the description Bow and Arrow for sale - do they think the long rod is an arrow???

Hi there guys

I agree that looks on first glance like its off back of lorry,

Very interesting, in that the seller is a new seller from july and has no postage details listed, Ive just sent the seller a message reading as follows
Hi there
Thats a lovely looking bow you have there, Im very interested in putting in a bid for the bow, however could you please advise me of the following:
The draw length is ?
The poundage is ?
Why are you selling such an expensive bow ?
What would the postage be to Scotland or because Im frequently in the liverpool area could I pick it up ?

So once I get a reply Ill post it on here in case anyone needs that info for identification purposes.

You know andrew theres nothing stereotypical about it, bows do get stolen and what their used for who knows but its never in favor of GNAS. So I wouldnt apoligise you have done the right thing, I agree with the other statements if you have a bow of that calibre then you should have good technical knowledge of the bow and there is clearly none on this advert.

I should also add that the other thing that puts mega alarm bells up for me, is that the seller has other auctions on ebay none of which are low prices, its all high price items and for a new seller without a feedback rating that looks bad very suspect.

Does anyone know anyone else who may have lost one of these lately? That bow has GOT to be hot property, with a description like that?

Ive asked the seller some questions aswell

Nice looking bow you have there. However, i have a few questions. Is it right hand or left hand? What Draw length (trad + pivot)? What Draw weight? What is the axle to axle length? Finally, what manafacturer is it?

I will also add the reply I get, so we can see if they will give the same info.

Chris
