| It could well be a coincidence. Guy's best friend is called Nigel and he lives in Keighley, and 3 of the 4 items for sale are amongst things I wasn't able to get from the house. I have sent a message to the seller and had no response - as a seller myself, had I got that message I would have replied saying I was mistaken and as you say, it must be a coincidence. I sent the message before the hoyt grip was listed so they would have got the message and could've replied. They might do it once they read this thread now. You can reason with most people but that goes out of the window when people have a mental illness, sad as that may be ![]()

| Myself, an antiques dealer and a police women had a conversation about stolen goods on ebay a few months ago and the police women said they often have to go knocking on doors to retrieve stolen goods. I suggest that if you are certain the stuff is yours then you really should call the police and get it investigated. Sandra

| Even if you are not CERTAIN that the gear is yours I would report it. As an ex-copper myself I can assure you that the police would rather investigate it and find no problem than to not know about it. You never know what else they may uncover. Theft often funds other activities as you know. I'd agree with those who've already said to contact the police. These people need stopping Could be the best '999' you've hit all season!. Martyn

| Hi Tracey. I had to contact the Police last year when a 'friend' that was housesitting helped himself to some of my contents. I felt a bit of a prat reporting it because 1. I'd given him a key and 2. The amount wasn't great - few hundred pounds. I thought they'd laugh but they were really helpful and it led to a formal caution - for him not me (thats another story). Save the web pages before they get removed so you can shoe them to the police and let them investigate and decide if the sales are genuine or not. Take care |
