As you are probably aware, womble was tight when returning my gear to me - by a remarkable coincidence someone by the name of 1013nigel, from keighley, is now selling identical stuff to my gear. Nigel just happens to be the name of womble's mate!

Report it to eBay.

Or bid on it yourself for something like 1 grand.

So you get bad feedback - you can reply by telling the truth.

Or of course someone reasonably close to you could win the bid and offer to 'collect' it rather than post

I've also known people contact the bidders to let them know the item they are bidding on is stolen. They soon retract their bid, somehow they dont want to be known as receiving stolen goods.

Though not in this case, it's usually the best way to pick up bargains because no one trusts someone with no feedback Although I've found people with no feedback seem to be the most eager to please and don't forget all ebayers started with no feedback
