private coaching in london

Are there private coaches available to teach archery to individuals in London...and how would I go about locating them?

A club...and any area of london really although more central the better. I'm currently based in southwark but could make most places. All the beginners courses seem fully subscribed.

when I started in London, I had the same issue with over subscribed courses.

I would suggest continuing to look for a club with a beginners course over 1 on 1 coaching early on.

you could contact Newham Archers?

my club West Essex Bowmen has a course starting shortly, and there may still be some places left, although this is out a way from Southwark and although possible by tube and bus (upminster then bus) would be a stretch so car or motorbike reccomended.

all the best

Joe

I know the county of London has a coaching advisor/ organisor that could possibly help, not sure if other countys around london do. Try County of London Archery Association (go to coaching and scroll to the bottom).

When I was trying to get on a beginners course i found I was going to have to wait for a couple months for the next one to be scheduled.

As a result I contacted the club I wasnted to learn through and then book a 1 to 1 beginners course. It cost a little more but meant it was tailored to me and took a lot less time to complete.

all counties have a post for coaching organiser, it's whether anyone is fool enough to do it!!

London archers is based in pimlico in the winter, and Kensington Palace gardens in the summer. contact them through the county website.
