| when I started in London, I had the same issue with over subscribed courses. I would suggest continuing to look for a club with a beginners course over 1 on 1 coaching early on. you could contact Newham Archers? my club West Essex Bowmen has a course starting shortly, and there may still be some places left, although this is out a way from Southwark and although possible by tube and bus (upminster then bus) would be a stretch so car or motorbike reccomended. all the best Joe

| I know the county of London has a coaching advisor/ organisor that could possibly help, not sure if other countys around london do. Try County of London Archery Association (go to coaching and scroll to the bottom).

As a result I contacted the club I wasnted to learn through and then book a 1 to 1 beginners course. It cost a little more but meant it was tailored to me and took a lot less time to complete. |
