| never tried it myself... but you would probably need two each of the following string + spare button rest - otherwise you might/would need to adjust the single one to align centre of button to shaft... it might be easier to have two risers too...that way you wouldn't need to have keep swapping rests, buttons etc.... if it were me I'd make each set a different colour for easier identification. | The rest issue I was aware of - not insurmountable though....anyone tried an adjustable one? Two of everything else was what I was trying to avoid - especially if the button is the main difference - I wouldn't need to 'keep' swapping it, just set up for indoor/outdoor depending on whether I can see the sky or not! ![]()

| I shoot Triple 500's outside and 2212 X7's inside. The only thing I change is the button. Everything else stays the same and they group / tune perfectly. I'm shooting 48# using a 20 strand Majesty string. Maybe I've been lucky with my setup ![]() Forgot to add that maybe my arrow rest could be adjusted slightly, to account for the difference in arrow shaft dia., but I don't move it. | |||||||||||||

| I have to say that up to now I've shot the X7s with the bow as set-up for the ACCs - Its only now that string changes have caused a rethink that I wondered about a bit more consistency being possible without too many changes between indoor and out.

| I shoot 610 Navigators outdoors and X7's indoors. I shoot the same bow and string (I will change from an 18 strand to 16 strand fastflight next outdoor season). I change the Shibua button to another Shibua button, and adjust the Spigarelli Zero tolerance arrow rest down and out for the extra diameter of the X7's. Sight marks for 30 m change, but a red dot and black dot on the sight tape take care of that if I forget the sight mark number. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I agree with previous comments... change the button and the string. Wouldn't worry too much about the rest unless you get a problem, I'm shooting 1916 XX75s off the rest set for my 670 ACEs - remember the button will be further in to get a reasonable centreshot. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| One of the very best bits of kit I have bought is a Beiter button. There is a very wide range of settings but the great thing is that they have a graduated scale so you can use two sets of arrows quite easily. Yes they are very expensive but once you have one it is obvious why. I suppose by changing pile weight and shaft length it would be possible to have two different types of arrow with exactly the same tune. | |||||||||||||||||

| I acquired a second hand Beiter button last week, at the bargin price of £30 - slowhand is right - they're cracking for playing about with. Mine is going to be set up for outdoor arrows, while my shibuya suits for indoors. Just need proper outdoor arrows now - anyone want to sell me some ACE's?
