'til I'm happy - my biggest problem is 'coming down' when I know I have a problem....Recurve by the way.

3 to 4 seconds for me too, then i come down and start again - the only problem is if the brain mixes the 'come down' signal with the 'release' signal....

From execution start to finish if I am shooting well 0.5-2 seconds

This is from the moment I am aiming, not anchored, I may be 2-5 seconds getting settled and aimed depending on the situation. Overall shot process is around 15-20 seconds with the aiming aspect by far the shortest aspect.

2-3 seconds, but oh! that "just one more second" moment is a killer.

When I start seeing double, then I know it's time to let-down. Do I?

No. I try shutting the left eye, with the result of a red @ 4 o'clock. discovered the problem at Adel, don't intend doing it again at Wakey tonmorrow.

Not if I'm going to beat LMP.
