Also Lilleshall management, who purchase/cooked those terrible Lamb chops on Friday evening.

There must be somewhere we could use that will accomodate everyone that wants to go. Any suggestions???

Andy
To give you an idea of how many wanted to attend, when I became a coach I asked about attending this and the organiser said that there was a waiting list of about 20 or so and did not feel it worth while adding to it any further.

I wonder why we cant fit in some more people. Queens had plenty of space, the talks/ seminars only had around 15 people per group and there was plenty of space in the dining room.

It may be an overnight accomodation problem but if I recall at the Development Conference there were also a hundred or so people from some martial arts thing there as well. They all seemed to be sleeping somewhere.

Anyone know why we seem to be limited in terms of numbers??

Andy

BTW - I agree about the lamb chops. Almost turned me vegetarian!!!!

It was not an overnight accomodation problem - I asked if it would make a difference whether or not I stayed overnight (I have relatives just about near enough) and it made no difference.

National Coaching Conference

Sounds like there is room for improvement, especially if there are people waiting in the wings to attend coaching courses etc.
It may be a good idea for those involved in running the courses to cover more ground with courses around the UK. A North, South, East, West sort of thing. Once or twice a year. Would it not be cheaper overall for the few rather than the many to pay for hotels. I fully understand and appreciate that these people have lives outside of archery and give up a lot of time. The answer to problems can be found and are rarely insurmountable.

If the GNAS need more coaches! Leaving things as they are is NOT the solution.

Well done to those who attended, sounds like you had a mixed bag of info.
