Archery in Action - DVD by Simon Needham

Just received my copy of this and watched it quickly last night.

It is a very good companion to the book (which I thought was excellent).

Well worth watching (and re-watching, especially when setting the bow up, finding true centre) - Simons presentation style is very believeable and understandable.

Simon

I set my wife's bow up using this DVD, and I can now claim a bit of credit when she outshoots me again and again...

Just a quick query - is the DVD a stand alone item or is designed for use in conjunction with Simons book (which I will get in the forseeable future).
Best wishes,
Steve

I didn't even know that there was a book. DVD worked fine on its own.

Standalone - it's a summary (bow setup & tuning) of the book. The shooting technique section is great, especially in slo-mo / frame at a time mode.

The book is very good (and contains much much more than the DVD).

Personally I'd recommend to get both.

Simon

Wasn't sure if it was in conjunction with or as a follow on from Simon Needhams "Art of Repetition".
I have seen it for sale on Bowsports website.
Best wishes,
Steve
