No? Really? And you guys think you have grief getting all the arrows in a set to shoot the same! Wooden shafts would REALLY keep you busy!

Guess it's all about expectations eh?
Who would really expect six twigs to fall from a tree- and all line up like picket fencing?
Longbowing is just so undemanding on the expectations - six all headed away from you is a group!
This is serious archery - Olympic style stuff...you should be able to expect hudreds of pounds worth of arrows- at thou/inch tolerances - and grain matched too, to hit where you're pointing at least when you shoot them right.

It's quite a let down to find that there's enough rubbish inside the tube to 'move' an arrow nearly a foot at 80 yards- or that one side of the arrow is stiffer than the other........you'd expect that with a twig though wouldn't you?

Retired an X7 from competitions this afternoon as my target mate decided that he wanted to put his arrow in the same hole. The shaft has just a slight flat spot. Not enough to stop if from flying well, but enough that I'll not shoot it in competition.

Just a shame that I'd only bought it yesterday and only shot it half a dozen times or so!!

I'd still shoot an X7 with a flat spot on it especially indoors, as long as the flat is rotated out of the rest/button contact areas and still groups with the rest, in fact just had a look and all of my X7's have flats on them somewhere, it's only the cracked ones I discard.
