FLIPPIN STUDENTS, SHOULD ALL BE SHOT OR ATLEAST HAVE THEIR comps taken away till their brains work. hehehehehehehe

how many arrows do you shoot a mile away to hit some one in the head. are we not talkin of an extra little 400 fps here.

i believe the wind doesn't affect the arrow it only affects the archer

as the computer is the brain, then your brain should tell you to abort the shot. or aim off and pluck
With you up to the pluck. Aiming off and executing the shot as normal works much better

Depends on if we're talking about sub or super-sonic weaponry..

And the principles of marksmanship can be applied to archery just as easily and effectivily as applied to rifle shooting, where as Aiming off and miss drills are less important as sight adjustments are far quicker and easier to make.

(and off topic: even army sharp-shooters are told to aim at centre of mass.. cause a 7.62mm (.390) or a .45 cal will stop someone in their tracks if they hit the chest, and the chest is well... bigger and softer as they have been doccuments occations of people surviving the assumed fatal 'headshot'. You only ever see snipers going for head shots in films or in assassinations (when there are normally about 6 or 7 people taking shots anyway)

Rhodri me little student ,

if you took as much interest in archery as you did with the ATC you'd be GMB now.

Put the rifle away before someone gets hurt. and i'll see you soon.

by the way you want to see a good rifleman , he picked up a borrowed compound and shot 3 GMB's in 8 days sat to the following sunday and he's welsh.

now you are all trying to make it way too technical.

simple fact is: if the wind is bad then you shoot and hope.

thats all there is to it, not at all hard!!
