| To answer the question a bit better, string walking is moving the fingers (starting with 3-under) down the string from the nocking point a proscribed distance for various ranges - all worked out in advance by trial and error. At the closer ranges one can be quite a ways down from the nocked arrow. This works out to the point on distance. From there one must "face walk", i.e. change anchor points or positions. Dave
